New Motherboard and CPU - The AthlonXP 2400+ CPU and Microstar
MS-6570 motherboard in my secondary workstation have been replaced
with an Athlon 64 X2 3800+ CPU and an Asus A8N-E motherboard. The
PNY GeForce 5700 Ultra AGP 8x video card has been swapped out with my
old eVGA GeForce 6600 PCIe 16x video card. The DDR-400 SDRAM has been
upgraded to 2GB. The appropriate setup page has been updated to
reflect the upgrades. |

Another Adaptec 29160 Controller - The Adaptec 2940UW PCI
contoller in my secondary workstation has been swapped out with an
Adaptec 29160 Ultra 160 PCI-X controller. The appropriate setup

Tape Drive Died - The Sony CDX-520C AIT-2 50/130GB tape drive in
my main workstation died. I have moved the Compaq CDX-500C AIT-2
50/130GB drive from my 3rd server to my main workstation and put an
old Exabyte EXB-8505XLS 7/14GB SCSI-2 8mm tape drive on the server
until I pick up another drive. Also, I have swapped out the Symbios
53C895 controller in my third server with an old Diamond Fireport 40
UWSCSI PCI controller. The appropriate setup pages have been updated
to reflect the changes. |

Processor and RAM Upgrade - The processor in my main
workstation has been slightly upgraded to a dual-core Athlon 64 X2
4200+. The RAM has been upgraded to 2GB Crucial DDR-400 The old
CPU, RAM, and a different motherboard will be installed in my
secondary workstation in the near future. The appropriate setup
page has been updated to reflect the upgrades. |

New Hard Drives - I have upgraded the two drives in my main
workstation from Quantum Atlas 10K 18GB Ultra-160 LVD SCSI to
Seagate Cheetah ST173404LCV 73GB Ultra-160 LVD SCSI w/16MB cache.
The same has been done for two drives in my main server. Each
setup page has been updated to reflect the changes. |

RAID Controller RAM Upgrades - One of the RAID controllers in
my file server has been upgraded to 64MB of onboard RAM (so they
now match). Also, the RAID controller in my main server has been

New Tape Drives - The Quantum DLT2000XT 15/30GB DLT III tape
drive in my main workstation has been replaced with a Sony AITi130-A
(SDX-520C) 50/130GB AIT-2 ATAPI drive. I have added an external
Compaq (Sony) SDX-500C 50/100GB AIT-2 tape drive to my third server.
The Exabyte EXB-8505S tape drive in my secondary workstation has
been replaced with my old Seagate STT20000A 10/20GB Travan-5 tape
drive. Each setup page has been updated to reflect the changes. |

Failed Drive - The IBM Desktar 120GXP 60GB UDMA-100 drive in
my third server failed. A second IBM Desktar drive also died (the
spindle motor actually failed in this one). A Western Digital
Caviar 16SE 250GB SATA-300 drive has been installed in its place.
I have also installed an ATI Radeon VE video card. The appropriate
setup page has been updated to reflect these changes. |

More Upgrades - I have upgraded the RAM in my 3rd server from
512MB to 1GB. The CyberDrive 24x SCSI CDROM has been removed from my
main server and replaced with two drives: a Sony DDU1615 16x DVDROM
and a Sony AW-Q170A 18x dual-layer DVD burner. The appropriate setup
pages for these systems have been updated to reflect the changes. |

Another New Monitor - I have replaced my secondary workstation
monitor (Gateway Vivitron 21) with a Samsung BW225 22" wide LCD. The

Adaptec AHA-2940UW SCSI controller in my main workstation has been

the video card to a BGF nVidia 6800 Ultra unit. The appropriate setup
